Self kindness advent day 6



Be here now


This moment today, here and now is where we can best start our self kindness rituals, reminders and actions.

We owe it to ourselves to know that being kind to ourselves is as simple as we want or need it to be.


We can start with a gently whispered message to our own dear heart - you are loved, you are worthy, you are special.


Some days this may feel like as much as we can do.


These moments gifted to ourselves become the new foundation of believing in our own inherent goodness and start us step by show step on the way to showing ourselves kindness in as many moments as possible.


In this advent moment, being here may feel tricky yet we can come present with our focus on the breath and slowing momentarily and allowing ourselves to ask


What do I need right now?


Maybe it's more fun, maybe it's a sit down with a cuppa and a mince pie, maybe it's letting go of the beating yourself up you've been doing for things not done yet.


Whatever you need, slow down here and now and just be here.
